January 15, 2008 London, England - After the thriving success of Nolcha Fashion Week: NYC 2007, attended by fashion industry elite including Lord and Taylor, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue, Nolcha is proud to debut Nolcha Fashion Week: London 2008.
Nolcha is thrilled to host the exclusive Nolcha Fashion Week: London February 11th - 16th 2008 at The Crystal Room at The Mayfair Hotel. Nolcha will transform this amazing and gorgeous space into a fashion Mecca with catwalk shows, networking events and seminars. Invitees to NFW:London include: UK and European press, stylists, industry figures and buyers from top London boutiques and department stores.
Selected designers showing at NFW: London include: International artist and new fashion designer Laurance Rassin. By using his heightened sense of color, he transposes his large figurative and interior works on fine fabrics, akin to creating wearable art. | Sassy, sexy and stylish are all words that spring to mind when you think of head designer, Georgette Williams. She poses an inante sense of style and innovation that spans over a unisex range of clothing and accessories. Merging the worlds of high fashion, creative art and chic hip hop is Georgie W. Couture. | Selphie Bong has always been known for her beautiful 3D hand bead detailing and embroideries. She prefers clean cut and classic, and still believes that elegance is always simple. | LeNac by Mylene Ignacio is elegant and casual, made for women who know what they want in life. They live to exist not only for seriousness but to have fun and let go as well. | QiPao by Jane (seen in image) is an atelier service that specializes in luxury bespoke fashion qipaos (sometimes known as cheongsams) which are individually tailored, completely customized, and handmade by an experienced artisan ( si fu) in Shanghai. Every Qipao by Jane is a unique work of modern art, a collaboration between the client and the designer to select from an exclusive collection of the finest silks in the world, as well as traditional Chinese handwork such as manual embroidery and silk brush painting.
